Radish - Daikon (2)

Big, crunchy, spicy and sweet, daikon radish thinly sliced adds great flavour to a coleslaw salad, and crunch to a sandwich. Cut into batons or wedges, it adds great texture in a stir fry. Try it roasted in the oven with other veg. 

Roots will store for weeks in the crisper.
